On August 15th, 2024, the 78th Independence Day was commemorated with great enthusiasm at the BGSMCH Nagaruru Campus. The celebration began with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony, which was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Gangadhar K. S., Dean cum Principal, and Dr. Krishnamurty V. R., Chief of the Hospital. Faculty members from Medicine & Nursing along with the hospital non-teaching staff participated in the ceremony with patriotitism.
Following the flag hoisting, Dr. Gangadhar K. S. delivered an inspiring speech that highlighted the significance of India’s independence and the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. The speech was followed by a few patriotic songs, which further added to the festive atmosphere.
The program was meticulously organized and executed, ensuring a smooth and successful celebration. The event concluded with a breakfast gathering for all participants, providing an opportunity for everyone to come together and savor the moment. Overall, the 78th Independence Day celebration at BGSMCH Nagaruru Campus was a resounding success
