BGS Medical College Hospital, Bangalore celebrated World Environment Day 2024 on 05/06/2024 with the theme “Protecting Our Planet, Sustaining Our Future.” On this occasion, Dean and Principal Dr. Gangadhar, along with Chief of the Hospital Dr. Krishnamurthy, planted saplings on the campus and highlighted the significance of World Environment Day.
In his address, Dr. Gangadhar shared his vision for a future environment where clean air and water, thriving ecosystems, and a stable climate are realities for all. He emphasized that achieving this vision requires collective effort, unwavering commitment, and deep respect for the natural world needs to be ingrained in our everyday lives. Dr. Krishnamurthy also underscored the importance of individual responsibility in protecting our environment, reminding everyone that each of us has a crucial role to play in this endeavour.
